I am an independent author, game designer and producer of different kinds of media and a trainer in those areas, where the interactive meets the movies and novels.

Focusing mainly on creating Action, Fantasy and Science Fiction I produce my own projects and offer my services to other companies and institutions in need for creative input, author- and designership and consulting.

My services are:

Dr. Michael Bhatty
In 1999 Michael Bhatty earned his Dr.phil. (equals Ph.D.) for his thesis "Interaktives Story Telling", created as Lead Game Designer story and world of the award-winning SACRED (1) and run the development of phenomedia publishing (yes, that's the one with the famous Moorhuhn) as Chief Executive Producer, before he set up his own company in 2007.

+++ Michael T. Bhatty's new Fantasy Novel "RUNES OF MAGIC - Shareena" +++ am 08.12.2009

On 17th of March 2010 my latest Fantasy novel, set on the world Taborea from the MMO RUNES OF MAGIC, published by Frogster.

As I am a ROM-player myself, I aimed for a fast paced cinematic approach to introduce to thrilling world of RUNES OF MAGIC.

Michael Bhatty Entertainment expanded! Now we have a studio and several new options to do development for games, story telling, digital video- und photography as well as for training.

Also, Ms Pöpel suporrts us in the office.

 
+++ Game Design for Braingame's NDS Meine Tierklinik Babys +++ am 18.08.2009

For Braingame GmbH I created the initial game design for the Nintendo DS title "NDS Meine Tierklinik - Babys".

Most interesting, this happened almost parallel to writing the novel FarCry - Blutige Diamanten, wherein I also hat a femaler vet as a hero.

The title "NDS Meine Tierklinik - Babys" was relesead in 2009.

For Travian Games GmbH I created new characters like Sergeant Major Robertson, the Titans Aether und Aeonis as well as the Xen warrior Ke'Rek, and embedded them into a thrilling story-start of the new Sci-Fi universe.

Meine Tierklinik - Babys

For the Braingame company I created the initial game design for the Nintendo DS title Babys, which targets a younger girls audience. Kids don't only have fun here, but they also learn to take responsibilities when it comes to animal handling.

Imperion

A brandnew Science-Fiction-Browsergame from Travian Games GmbH is currently in Open-Beta; several narrative authoring tasks were done Michael T. Bhatty.

Trivia Notes

There is a rumor, that I wrote the screenplay for Uwe Boll's adaptation for the cinema, featuring Til Schweiger as Jack Carver. Well, if you read something like that in the web, it's an error: I wrote the novel based on the game and Uwe did the movie based on the game. Hoewever, you can find an extract of my novel on the official movie homepage (and for insiders: there is an funny hint for movie-lovers regarding potential Jack Carver-actors in my second FarCry-novel;-)
